Based in Marysville, Washington, Dr. Zachary “Zac” Robbins is an experienced school administrator and researcher. His career began as a high school English teacher in Washington, D.C., and Montgomery County, Maryland, before rising through the ranks of school leadership. Dr. Zachary Robbins served as principal of the Academy of Public Service High School in Boston and led the school to become one of the most improved in Massachusetts.
Dr. Zac Robbins became superintendent of schools at Marysville School District 25 from 2022 to 2024. Among other achievements, he established a data management system that allowed district leaders and teachers to make more data-driven decisions.
In addition to his district-level leadership, Dr. Zac Robbins has been an influential educator at the university level. He served as core faculty and lead faculty area chair at the University of Phoenix School of Education, where he taught graduate courses in research methods, statistics, equity, and leadership. He also taught at Lesley University, where his courses emphasized inquiry, equity, and effective instructional practice.
